Finding Loren: The Life, Death and Discovery of a WWII Fighter Pilot In-Person

First Lieutenant Loren Hintz was an Iowa farm boy and American P-47 fighter pilot with the 79th FG, 86 FS, shot down in action over northern Italy during World War II. Loren's death remained clouded in mystery for more than 70 years until his family, along with a dedicated group of passionate Italian Aviation enthusiasts and archaeologists, located and excavated the site where Loren was shot down. What they discovered will amaze you. Presenter Gretchen Hintz Wronka, Loren's daughter, will display selected artifacts from the crash site. No registration required.
