Popular Music Club In-Person
Join us every first Thursday of the month for our Popular Music Club meetups!
Music is universal. Most of us can name a song or a band from the last 70 years that has influenced us in some way. Whether you’re a passive listener of the radio, a hardcore fan of multiple bands, or someone who plays music as a way of life, music brings us together; opens us up to new possibilities.
This club will share and discuss popular music from the beginning of rock & roll in the 1950’s to the genre-bending melodies we stream today, and the tunes in between. Each meetup will feature a theme.
Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
