Fraud and Scams Targeting Seniors with TRELLIS In-Person
Anoka County Library's Rum River branch partners with Trellis, the regional Area Agency on Aging for the seven-county Twin Cities metro area, whose mission is "to assist individuals to age well and develop the capacity of communities to care for an aging population."
Protect yourself against fraud! Join us for an interactive presentation on how to identify and – more importantly – avoid scams aimed at older adults, including Medicare and health care fraud, identity theft and “phishing” schemes.
Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here.
