Color Me Curious In-Person

Radiant reds, bright blues, and plush purples are all around us. But where do these colors come from? In this 60-minute workshop, learn about the history and science of natural colorants, familiarize yourself with pH as a chemical property of substances, and explore how scientific knowledge can inform human art. Using colorants and chemical solutions, students will produce a beautiful palette of colors that they will use to create their water color masterpiece. Suited for children in Grades 3-5.
