Supporting Your Child with Special Needs Discussion Group In-Person

Join other caregivers and meet local author and special education teacher Rachel Jorgensen. Each meeting we'll discuss a few chapters from her book Supporting your child with special needs: 50 fundamental tools for families and Rachel will be there to answer questions you may have. You are welcome even if you don't have time to read the book beforehand.

Rachel Jorgensen is a special educator, college instructor, and educational writer with a special interest in empowering learners with special needs. She has spent nearly 20 years in the special education classroom and continues to enjoy her daily work with her students. She is also the owner of Learn & Thrive Consulting, an organization dedicated to supporting special educators and families.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs.  Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here.
