Dr. Ha Tuong is a native of Saigon, South Vietnam. He was a second lieutenant in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam during the last 3 years of the Vietnam War. After having escaped from the communists in May 1975 and being incarcerated in a Malaysian refugee camp, he resettled in Minneapolis, MN and was hired by Minneapolis Public Schools as a program coordinator, teacher and finally assistant principal.
