Buying, Owning, and Riding an Electric Bike In-Person

Since they first came on the market, e-bikes have been proven that they’re more than a fad. Electric bikes are faster and less physically taxing to operate than a normal bicycle but are also more complicated to maintain and more expensive for the casual consumer. This presentation will cover the types of e-bikes, reliable vendors for buying and maintaining an e-bike, safety advice and recommendations, and answer questions from attendees to help you decide if an e-bike works just in time for the warm spring and summer months. Join Noah Hansen from Anoka County’s Commute Solutions program as he shares his expertise and experiences buying and owning an e-bike for commuting and errands over the past four years.
