Adaptive Teen Cooking: State Fair Snacks In-Person

It's State Fair time. Let's see what tasty treats we can make!
Join us in the IQ kitchen as we demonstrate simple, easy to follow recipes, you will surely want to try out at home.

This adaptive class is for teens with disabilities.  Participants will be paired with a peer buddy with the goal of connecting teens with and without disabilities to learn, socialize, and have fun together.

  • A parent or caregiver should stay in the library while their teen participates in the program. The community room is reserved for parents to get to know other parents of kids with disabilities if you'd like to socialize while your child is participating in the class.
  • If you are a teen interested in being a peer buddy for this program, please register here: https://anokacounty.libcal.com/event/10696592
