Smart Not Scared: Personal Safety Messages for Pre-Teens/Teens and Caregivers In-Person

Alison Feigh is the director of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center. In her 20+ years of missing children advocacy, she works with students, parents, youth workers, faith leaders, law enforcement. This presentation covers personal safety strategies for preteens and teens with a focus on the importance of being a voice for change. Topics include consent, do no harm, bystander intervention, and personal safety strategies for teens. This program which is intended for pre-teens/teens and their caregivers will illustrate the importance and the how-to of bystander intervention and what teens and caregivers can do to stay safe.
