Together at the Library (Adult Adaptive Program) In-Person
Join us each month for Together at the Library, a program for adults with disabilities and their caregivers. Past activities include squirt bottle painting, clay fish, parachute games, and bingo. We’ve even had guest instructors teach us world drumming and line dancing! Together we’ll make new friends, learn new skills, and have fun!
Together at the Library typically meets every 3rd Tuesday, 12-1 pm, at Rum River Library. *There is no program in November. December's program is on Tuesday, Dec 10.* Registration is required. Participants need to bring a family member or caregiver to participate with them. Small groups with a single caregiver are welcome. Please email Amy at amy.oelkers@anokacountymn.gov with questions.
Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
