Stitch Up a Fiber Collage with EHolt Art In-Person
This is a project for lovers of color, pattern and texture: work with an artist to stitch up a one of a kind fiber collage. Collage is usually done with glued paper but in this case we will use patches of fabric, interesting textile remnants, beads, embroidery floss and more to create an incredible tactile work of fiber art secured to an embroidery hoop. This class is about exploring color and texture in an intuitive, relaxed way. Anyone can particpate regardless of ability level or experience. Participants will go home with a finished (or nearly finished) piece of art ready to hang on the wall.
