Teen Silent Book Club In-Person
Looking to find a quiet space to connect with fellow book lovers? Then the Teen Silent Book Club is for you! Unlike regular book clubs where everyone reads the same book, silent book clubs have no assigned reading or required discussion questions. Everyone brings a book of their choice and reads together in a quiet space. There will be 30-45 minutes of quiet reading followed by 15 minutes of optional discussion and hang-out time. Stay to socialize with other readers, or don't! The choice is up to you! Bring any book you would like to read, or choose a staff-recommended book at the program.
The Teen Silent Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. We'll listen to calming music and enjoy refreshments as we read. All teens are welcome to join the low-key, inclusive, friendly group!
Looking for a book to read, check out the Teen Books section of the ACL website to browse featured titles in the ACL Catalog!
