Create your own Comic with Local Author Jason Walz In-Person
This program is intended for youth in grades 3rd to 8th. Come and learn about what it is like to be a cartoonist and illustrator from local author Jason Walz. You will go home with a self-designed, one-page comic. Jason is best known for his graphic novel trilogy Last Pick and his Eisner-nominated graphic novel Homesick. He is also the creator of the online comic anthology Crap Shoot, and several short story comics. His twenty-plus years of teaching in special education continue to shape the stories he is telling. Registration is required.
