Handbuilt Clay Mugs for Youth

Handbuilt Clay Mugs for Youth In-Person

This program is intended for youth ages 9 years and older. Come and create a fun handbuilt mug out of clay.  Students will learn how to create a mug out of a slab and decorate the outside by adding clay to create an interesting design.  The students will decorate the mugs with colorful underglazes. These will be taken back to Rumriver Art Center to be fired and will be able to be picked up at the library within 3 weeks. Registration is required.

Check out other unique projects with your Library card on Creative Bug or visit one of the Crafters Pantry at Crooked Lake or North Central Library.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
