Basic Digital Skills for Immigrants

Basic Digital Skills for Immigrants In-Person

This eight-session class is for adults wanting to learn beginner computer skills. Please bring your device or use a library Chromebook. You will learn how to navigate a website, get an introduction to Google Email, Docs, and Maps, and learn the basics of video conferencing.

We will meet from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The first hour will be instruction, and the second will be practice with 1:1 assistance.  Don't worry about missing a session; you can catch up during practice hours.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
