Adulting 101: Basic Hand Mending

Adulting 101: Basic Hand Mending In-Person

Welcome to Adulting 101, a series of workshops with community experts, geared towards younger adults! This class will first cover the classic mending dilemma: how to sew on a button. Then you'll learn two different strategies for coat (or pants) and shirt buttons, before moving on to a handful of practical hand stitches that you can use to mend small tears and holes in all kinds of fabrics. Bring an item you’d like to fix up and get advice on how to tackle your project. This program is geared toward ages 16-30, but any adult interested in learning about the topic is welcome to attend.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs.
