Intro to Genealogy

Intro to Genealogy In-Person

Are you a beginner in climbing your family tree? Or is a "brick wall" blocking your path in your research? Or maybe you already have names and dates, but would be interested in learning more about the time and place they lived? Learn from the Minnesota Genealogical Society's Library Manager, Jeanne Bielke-Rodenbiker. You will learn the best sources, how to research, and some pitfalls to avoid to make progress toward your genealogy goals. Information about resources from the Minnesota Genealogical Society and the Hoffman Research Library will be provided.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
