Artificial Intelligence—an Introduction In-Person

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a technology that enables machines to think, learn, and make decisions like humans. From virtual assistants like Siri to self-driving cars, AI is shaping our everyday lives. It works by using data and algorithms to perform tasks like recognizing faces, understanding speech, and even playing games. It is transforming industries such as healthcare, finance, and entertainment, making it a key driver of innovation. But is it safe technology or will it be the end of humanity? This presentation will give a quick overview of how AI came about, how it works, its impact on our world, and where it may be going.
