Adulting 101: How to Ride the Bus In-Person

Welcome to Adulting 101, a series of workshops with community experts, geared towards younger adults! This event, hosted by Anoka County Transit Department, is all about navigating the Metro Transit bus system. Learn all about how to pay bus fares, use a GoTo card, and find bus stops and bus schedules - plus, get a first look at the brand new Metro Micro service in Blaine. There will even be an opportunity to take a short ride on a Metro bus!

This program is geared toward ages 16-30, but any age adult who is interested in learning this skill is welcome to attend! Must be 16 or older to participate in the bust ride. Registration is recommended.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
