Patchwork Embroidery: Embellish a Tea Towel

Patchwork Embroidery: Embellish a Tea Towel In-Person

Add some pizazz to your kitchen by making your own unique patched and embroidered hand towel! Using a flour sack base we will learn from a teaching artist some basic embroidery stitches that will allow us to emblazon a corner of our tea towel with a design of our own making. Add even more color by patching in with a variety of scrap cottons and linens to further accent your design! An emphasis will be placed on creativity, experimentation, texture and color in this easy, beginner-level sewing program.
