Clay Snowperson Sculpture In-Person

This program is intended for youth ages 10 to 17 years. In this fun and festive class, attendees will learn basic hand-building techniques while creating their own unique snowperson out of clay. They'll have the opportunity to add playful details like hats, scarves, mittens, and accessories for their snowperson to hold. Once the sculpture is built, students will decorate it with colorful underglazes. All clay pieces will be taken to Rumriver Art Center to be kiln-fired and clear-glazed. Finished artwork will be returned to the library for pickup within three weeks of the class. Perfect for all ages and skill levels!

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
