Special Bus Family Storytime In-Person

Children and families are invited to learn all about buses in this special short storytime! After storytime, attendees are invited to visit and explore a real Metro Transit bus in the library parking lot. This program ties in with the Adulting 101: How to Ride the Bus program, but it can also be enjoyed separately.

Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 2 to 5 year olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome!

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.

Check out new picture books from the library that you can enjoy at home with your child!
