Getting Started with CreativeBug for Online Arts & Crafts Workshops

Getting Started with CreativeBug for Online Arts & Crafts Workshops In-Person

Have you been wanting to learn a new craft, or hobby like painting, knitting, or sewing, but aren't sure how to get started? Join us for an introduction to CreativeBug, the library resource for free, easy-to-use, high-quality online video arts and crafts workshops and techniques! In this program, you will learn the basics about what CreativeBug is and how to access it for free with your library card on your smartphone, tablet, or home computer, view a demonstration on how to use the resource in real time, and have a chance to ask questions. If time allows, following the demonstration, participants will flex their creativity and complete day 1 of a month-long Daily Drawing Challenge from the CreativeBug Daily Practice collection. All materials will be provided. Register to receive an email reminder about this event. Drop-ins are also welcome!

Recommended: arrive early and stop by the service desk to check that your library card is up to date, and that your PIN is current. You will need your barcode and PIN to start using CreativeBug!

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
