SUMMARY:Pint-Sized Science: Collage a Native Garden with Local Author Melinda Mattsen-Vang
DESCRIPTION:Young artists explore the beauty of local ecosystems through
creative collage. Join Melinda Mattsen-Vang\, local author of "A Rainbow of
Native Plants\," for this educational and artistic program. Participants
will build a unique mixed media collage that celebrates the look and feel
of Minnesota’s native landscapes.\n\nThis program is geared toward ages
5-9\, but everyone five and up is welcome. Space is limited\, and a sign-up
is required for each young explorer.\n\nAnoka County Library strives to
ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources\, services\,
and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available
at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch
hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are
additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
