Millefiori Magic: Covered Objects In-Person

Discover the art of millefiori, meaning “a thousand flowers” in Italian—a mesmerizing technique that began in glassblowing and now flourishes in polymer clay. Join sculptor and artist Layl McDill as she guides you step-by-step through the process of crafting your own intricate millefiori designs. You’ll be amazed as you slice through your clay canes to reveal tiny, detailed images hidden inside! Then, choose an object—like a picture frame, light switch plate, vase, or pen—to decorate with your colorful creations.

Bring a small item from home to cover, or select from a variety of objects provided. Once finished, take your transformed piece home to bake in your own oven and enjoy a one-of-a-kind work of art.
