Discover the rich cultural heritage behind Russia’s most iconic wooden handicraft—the matryoshka doll. This interactive program invites participants to explore the captivating history of these nesting dolls and view authentic examples from The Museum of Russian Art’s education collection. We’ll also delve into other traditional Russian toys, uncovering the stories, artistry, and symbolism that make them unique.
