Adaptive Teen Cooking- Mini Quiche In-Person

This adaptive class is for teens with disabilities. Participants will be paired with a peer buddy with the goal of connecting teens with and without disabilities to learn, socialize, and have fun together.

A parent or caregiver should stay in the library while their teen participates in the program.

For this program, we will be making mini quiches. Recipe will use gluten-free dough, dairy, and eggs.

The Curiosity Kitchen is a mobile kitchen program using Charlie Carts - compact, mobile kitchens - that allow kids to connect food and cooking with math, English language arts, science, and social studies concepts while having fun. For questions about potential allergens, please contact the Mississippi Library at 763-324-1560.
