2026 Featured Author Fair with Keynote J. Ryan Stradal In-Person
Join the Library for the 9th annual Local Author Fair, where attendees can connect with the 16 selected Featured Local Authors from our community and purchase their books. The event is kicked off by keynote speaker and New York Times bestselling author J. Ryan Stradal at 10:00 am. Stradal is the author of Kitchens of the Great Midwest, The Lager Queen of Minnesota, and his latest novel, Saturday Nights at the Lakeside Supper Club. All of Stradal's novels are set in Minnesota and are available at the Anoka County Libraries!
New venue for 2026! This event will be held at the Bunker Hills Activity Center: 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304. The Local Author Fair will take place immediately after the 10:00 am keynote address, and will run until 1:00 pm. Registration is not required, but register to receive a reminder email about the event.
Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
