Together at the Library: Cooking! (Adult Adaptive Program) In-Person

Join us for Together at the Library, a monthly program for adults with disabilities and their caregivers. We do fun activities like squirt bottle painting, clay sculpting, parachute games, and line dancing. Every session is a chance to make new friends, learn new skills, and have fun!

This month, we'll be cooking up something good with the Curiosity Kitchen! The Curiosity Kitchen is a mobile kitchen program using Charlie Carts - compact, mobile kitchens - that allow participants to connect food and cooking with math, English language arts, science, and social studies concepts while having fun. For questions about potential allergens, please contact the Mississippi Library at 763-324-1560.

Registration is required; please complete a registration form for each person in your group. Participants need to bring a family member or caregiver to participate with them. Small groups with a single caregiver are welcome.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.
