Winter Seed Sowing In-Person
Join library staff and local gardening experts for winter seed sowing and learning about the city of Fridley's new seed library coming soon at the Mississippi Library! Winter sowing is a simple, low-cost, climate-savvy technique for starting native plant seeds as well as cold-hardy food crops. This session will be in the form of a demonstration with an opportunity to take home seeds and instructions.

- Seed planting calendar
- Comparison to traditional indoor planting
