DESCRIPTION:Join library staff and local gardening experts for winter seed 
 sowing and learning about the city of Fridley's new seed library coming 
 soon at the Mississippi Library! Winter sowing is a simple\, low-cost\, 
 climate-savvy technique for starting native plant seeds as well as 
 cold-hardy food crops. This session will be in the form of a demonstration 
 with an opportunity to take home seeds and instructions.\n\nIn this 
 session\, we will cover: \n\n\n	Overview of winter sowing\n	Step-by-step 
 winter sowing instructions\n	Seed selection\n	Seed stratification\n	Seed 
 planting calendar\n	Comparison to traditional indoor planting\n\n\nAnoka 
 County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access 
 library resources\, services\, and programs. Assistive technology and 
 program accommodations are available at many library locations as outlined
