Sports Mug Clay Pinch Pot In-Person

This program is intended for youth 10 years of age or older.  Students will learn basic hand-built techniques to create a pinch pot mug of their favorite sport-this could be a sports team, sports object, or sports activity like dancing or rock climbing. Participants will create a base and then add details to make their piece. Once the mug is assembled, students will be given colorful underglazes to finish their creations. These will be fired at Rumriver Art Center and delivered back to the library in 3 weeks.

Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations, as outlined on our library accessibility page. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate.

This program is funded by MELSA.
