Learn how to make your very own yarn in this introductory spinning class! Our teaching artist will supply a variety of hand-dyed, locally sourced wools for us to work with, as well as top whorl drop spindles. Participants will learn the vocabulary, science, and art surrounding the practice of hand spinning, and then will try it themselves! Participants can expect to laugh, learn, and leave with between 5 and 30 yards of handspun, funky, thick-thin art yarn. No previous experience necessary!
