Spooky Folding Halloween Sea Monster In-Person
This program is intended for youth in grades 1st through 8th. Learn how to make a folding sea monster for Halloween! Participants will draw inspiration from Central American folklore—like the Ipupiara from 16th-century Tupi mythology in coastal Brazil. Participants will fold a large piece of paper, then use pencil and sharpie to draw monsters. Lastly, participants will add color using markers or colored pencils.
