This program is intended for youth in grades 1st through 8th. Letʼs get inspired by spectacular beauty of our underwater friends and paint some beautiful fishes. We will look at examples of fish paintings and prints from Japanese artists to get inspired, then we will learn how to use a selection of bamboo brushes, rich inks and vivid watercolors to create paintings of our own design. We will be able to either paint fish of our own imaginings or use a variety of reference images to capture our scaly friends. Participants can expect to leave with 1 to 3 finished paintings.
