Family Health History: NNLM Reading Club In-Person
Join us for a discussion of "It's All Relative" by A.J. Jacobs to celebrate National Family Health History Month. Knowing your family’s health history paints a picture of your family's health problems from one generation to the next. This knowledge is a powerful tool for early detection or prevention of diseases you may be at risk for.
In addition to a lively discussion, Reading Club participants will receive information on how to start investigating their own family health history. Free copies of the book "It's All Relative" will be available for committed participants while supplies last. This program is funded through the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the NNLM All of Us Research Program.
