Katha Dance Theatre: Dance, Music, Myth, & Legends Online
Join COMPAS Teaching Artists Katha Dance for this one-of-a-kind virtual performance! Participants learn about Indian culture through dance. The storytellers in ancient India performed mythological stories before village audiences using rhythmic footwork, expressive movement of the hands and face, swift turns and elegant stances.
This program will premiere on our Facebook page and be available for viewing for 2 weeks. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
