Break the Silence, Join the Conversation Online
Join us for the first in a series of community change discussions exploring the causes and ways to reduce mental health stigma and discrimination. Mental illnesses are more common than diabetes, yet we still struggle with talking about them compared a physical illness. During this session participants will learn how to better recognize stigma and gain tips for talking with others about mental illness. This presentation is part of the Making It Ok Anoka County Community campaign of the Mental Wellness Campaign of Anoka County and the Northwest Metro Round table of Allina Health and is made in partnership with Health Partners and presented in partnership with Anoka County Libraries.
