Brkfst Dance Company Online

BRKFST provides a performance utilizing foundational breaking (breakdancing) with contemporary and experimental concepts that will both educate and inspire. By instilling an understanding of the values and forms of expression which fuel hip hop culture, breaking highlights these values and fosters the development of self-motivation, determination, creativity and introspection. Pushing the limits is not only encouraged, but expected. The result is a completely unique dance form of self-expression and individual style. Predominantly self-taught, breaking gives a voice to individuals with limited access to the arts. In addition to showcasing highly physical and gravity-defying moves, BRKFST provides students with basic foundational movements through demonstration and instruction, which students can then take home with them and build upon.

This program will premiere on our Facebook page and be available for viewing for 2 weeks. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
