Birdscaping Basics In-Person
How can you attract more birds - and bees and butterflies - to your yard? This online class will introduce the idea of “birdscaping,” which is landscaping to build bird habitats using plants that offer food, cover, and resting sites. Native plants also help with soil erosion and water bills, so there is a win for everyone. Instructor Amber Burnette will cover principles of using seasonal diversity and arrangement of plants as well as thinking about your individual space. You will need an Internet enabled device or computer to participate via Zoom. Registration required.
