Mental Health Awareness Workshop In-Person
October 10 is World Mental Health Awareness Day! Join members of the “Make It Ok Anoka County” community campaign to learn ways to reduce mental health stigma and discrimination. Mental illnesses are more common than diabetes, yet we still struggle with talking about them compared a physical illness. During this session, participants will learn how to better recognize stigma and gain tips for talking with others about mental illness. This presentation is in partnership with the Mental Wellness Campaign for Anoka County (MWCAC.org) and the Northwest Metro Roundtable. Registration encouraged.
