DESCRIPTION:Reading Bridge fosters the joy of reading and boosts reading 
 skills through mentorship and creative play.\n\nIntended for students in 
 1st\, 2nd\, or 3rd grade who are reading below grade level.\n\nYoung 
 readers will be paired with a volunteer mentor to meet once a week for 8-12 
 weeks (depending on season) to build reading skills and confidence. Each 45 
 minute session will include time for the student and mentor to read 
 together\, play games and activities designed to build literacy skills\, 
 and goal setting for the week to come.\n\nTo participate in the program\, 
 students must:\n\n\n	be in grades 1-3\n	read below grade level\n	live in or 
 attend school in Anoka County\n	be able to meet with their volunteer mentor
