SUMMARY:Criminal Expungement Clinic
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Anoka County Law Library hosts a criminal expungement 
 clinic on the third Tuesday of each month. \n\nNo pre-registration is 
 necessary.\n\nExpungement is the process of appearing in court to request 
 that a judge seal a court record. People request an expungement when they 
 have been denied a job\, housing\, or a professional license due to a 
 criminal incident that appears on a background check.\n\n\n\nYou can attend 
 an informational session to determine if you qualify financially and meet 
 individually with an attorney to discuss whether this is a realistic option 
 for your situation. This is the best place to begin the process for 
 criminal expungement and receive assistance with it.\n\nSessions start at 
 1:30 p.m. Please arrive by 12:30 p.m. Late arrival may prevent an 
 individual from meeting with an attorney.\n\nThis is a walk-in clinic 
 supported by Central Minnesota Legal Services.\n\nCourt forms will be 
 provided to all registrants\; alternatively\, they can be picked up free of 
 charge at the Anoka County Law Library.\n\nPhone number:
