SUMMARY:Adaptive Teen Art: Colorful Dot Mandalas
DESCRIPTION:This adaptive class is for teens with disabilities.  
 Participants will be paired with a peer buddy with the goal of connecting 
 teens with and without disabilities to learn\, socialize\, and have fun 
 together. \n\n\n	A parent or caregiver should stay in the library while 
 their teen participates in the program.  \n	If you are a teen interested in 
 being a peer buddy for this program\, please register here\n\n\nExplore the 
 beauty of geometric patterns through the meditative art of creating 
 mandalas. Learn how to use paints and markers to design a colorful dot 
 mandala tote bag. The instructor will show an example of a completed 
 project and students can experiment with a variety of different techniques 
 and designs on paper before creating their canvas tote. Instructor will be 
 present during the whole class to assist\, encourage and support each 
 participants creativity. Geared for grades 6-12th.\n\nAnoka County Library 
 strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources\, 
 services\, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations 
 are available at many library locations as outlined here. Please call the 
 library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if 
 there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully 
 participate.
