DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Anoka County Law Library hosts a criminal expungement 
 clinic on the third Tuesday of each month. \n\nNo pre-registration is 
 necessary.\n\nExpungement is the process of filing a motion in court to 
 request that a judge seal a court record. People request expungement when 
 they have been denied employment\, housing\, or a professional license due 
 to a criminal incident that appears on a background check.\n\n\n\nAttend an 
 informational session to determine whether you qualify financially to meet 
 individually with an attorney to assess whether this is a realistic option 
 for your situation. This is the best place to start the criminal 
 expungement process and receive assistance.\n\nSessions start at 12:30 p.m. 
 Please arrive by 12:00 p.m. Late arrival may prevent an individual from 
 meeting with an attorney.\n\nThis is a walk-in clinic supported by Central 
 Minnesota Legal Services.\n\nCourt forms will be provided to all 
 registrants\, or they can be picked up free of charge at the Anoka County
