Intro to Comedy for Youth In-Person
This program is intended for youth in grades 3rd-5th grade. Everyone can tell a joke. Jokes can contain a microcosm of art, culture, and human experience and, when done right, a joke causes an involuntary shared human experience: laughter. This workshop will introduce students to comedy writing and comedy performance through numerous dynamic examples and critical discussion.
